  • Performance – The FAST Suite (Fully Automated Storage Tiering) of features leverages Enterprise Flash Drives for the ultimate storage performance.  FAST monitors the performance requirements of the data being stored and delivers Flash performance to the data as needed.  When performance requirements are low, FAST can move the data to lower cost, higher capacity drives.
  • Protection – Protection Suites provide not only local protection in the form of snapshots but also Continuous Data Protection.  Advanced technologies such as Continuous Remote Replication and Synchronous/Asynchronous Replication provide the foundation for Disaster Recovery solutions and enable lower RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) times than ever possible before.
  • Efficiency – Built-in features such as deduplication and compression provide significantly better storage efficiency for large data storage requirements.  Virtual Storage Pools and thin provisioning increase efficiency by decoupling storage capacity from the underlying storage hardware much like server virtualization does.  This allows the storage capacity to easily be expanded without change or disruption to the host devices attached to the storage.
